How to Streamline OpenCart Order Processing?

OpenCart orders, similarly to other web store entities, require opportune and accurate handling. Well-implemented order management system automates and streamlines order processing. Primarily, it helps organize order handling tasks and maintain order details, namely information on billing and payments, OpenCart customer data, order processing records and more.

Orders and their details are being administered in Orders section, disposed under Store tab of Store Manager for OpenCart main menu. Functions are accessible on the toolbar and in the context menu. Let’s have a look at what exactly operations can be accomplished.

Handy Order Creation

With Store Manager application you quickly designate order associated details when adding new order to OpenCart. Moreover, it can be carried out in two ways, either via Edit Order(s) form or via OpenCart POS window.

To create order via the form, click on Add New Order button on the toolbar or in the context menu. The form will appear in Store Manager lower grid. You are not doomed to open separate windows to proceed with order information - switch between logically arranged tabs to input order data, namely, customer details, shipping and payment info, product to be ordered, and so on.

OpenCart POS significantly simplifies and, furthermore, automates order management. It allows to scan product code and add it to OpenCart order in such a way. Although it is not necessarily to have the barcode scanner tool to assign this or that item to order, since you may find required item using product search.

Instantaneous Order Updates

Some order related info may change anytime and you must keep orders updated. Store Manager for OpenCart encompasses order editing tool that allows to modify orders in bulk. Just opt for entities you need to alter details for and click on Edit # Selected Order(s) button.

Similarly to the procedure, described above, you need to input correct information in target fields and press Apply for changes to be saved.

Bulk Order Remove from OpenCart

Oftentimes there appears the need to delist some of orders, since they are not used any more. Corresponding function is, of course, offered by Store Manager. Point out records to be removed and press Delete Selected Orders button.

Filter Orders

If you are able to filter orders, you, respectively, do not waste time on their search. It is possible to quickly sort records and instantly get target orders. Filter options are disposed in the field to the right. OpenCart orders can be filtered by time (this week, previous week, yesterday, today, this month, etc) and order status (refunded, pending, expired, etc).

Export OpenCart Orders

Orders and their details can be easily transferred and organized in the file thanks to export functionality Store Manager for OpenCart comprises. Data can be exported to Excel, .html, .xml, .txt., and .csv files. Orders will be displayed in the files in the way you see them in Store Manager.
